NTUC Income Maternity 360 Highlights & Benefits

NTUC Income's Maternity 360 is a standalone maternity insurance plan that provides financial protection against death, pregnancy complications and congenital illnesses. Premiums are paid once and coverage lasts for 3 years for both the mother and her newborn. While the plan does not require the purchase of a life insurance policy (unlike the majority of other maternity insurance plans), Income does offer an option to receive a simplified application for customers who want to do so.

In addition to providing death of the mother or newborn coverage, there is coverage for 23 congenital illnesses and 10 pregnancy complications. Mothers and newborns will also receive a daily hospitalisation care benefit. This benefit covers additional conditions such as postnatal anaemia, C-section infection and inpatient psychiatric treatment for the mother and bronchitis, hand, foot and mouth disease and pneumonia for the newborn. There is also an outpatient phototherapy benefit if your child develops severe neonatal jaundice. Lastly, Income's Maternity 360 premiums are also between 10-20% cheaper than the other standalone maternity plan, Great Eastern's Flexi Maternity, making it a potential option for more budget-conscious consumers.
