Lloyd's Inn employs an open concept design for their rooms, with big picture windows allowing in plenty of sunlight and a super high ceiling that makes the room feel extremely spacious.

Part of my purpose at the Lloyd's Inn was to try working in a different location, and the experience left me amazed at the amount of work I can get done.

The work table is spacious, giving you ample space for your laptop and documents. There is also adequate lighting to ensure that you can work comfortably without straining your eyes.

The Wifi provided was adequate for getting work done, and best of all, Lloyd's Inn also provides a Bluetooth Logitech keyboard and a wireless mouse for guests’ use. These come in handy when you're working on your tablet or iPad.

This work setup helped to foster an environment for deep work and peak productivity.

If you do not need to work on your staycation, you can use the area for mindful meditation in the morning, allowing yourself to clear your thought for a brand-new day.

An Island Vacation in the City Centre

As you can probably tell by now, Lloyd’s Inn spared no expenses when it comes to making their rooms as comfortable and lounge-worthy as possible; so much so that you might not want to leave your room during your stay.

But that’s not all the hotel has to offer for guests.

The various well-designed open spaces at the hotel will leave you feeling like you’re on an island of tranquility in the middle of the city centre.
